Columbus, Ohio, based IT consulting and training provider Global Lynx has released an online platform (wde.globallynx.com) to help Ohio workers seeking employment and technology training connect with IT sector employers seeking the talent they need to fill open IT positions across the state.
The new IT Talent Pipeline Management Platform is an element of the Global Lynx Ohio IT Workforce Development Ecosystem. The platform was piloted in 2020 to facilitate job placement for Ohio workers and companies who participated in the State of Ohio’s IMAP and TechCred programs.
“Global Lynx is committed to helping unemployed, underemployed, as well as individuals who are new to the IT workforce develop the skills they need to gain meaningful employment.”, said Manuel Garcia, US Regional Manager of Global Lynx. “We are hoping to help reduce the IT talent shortage and do our part to help Ohio’s IT workforce needs.”
Ohio employers can post their open IT positions on the online IT Talent Pipeline Management platform. They can also see individuals available for employment who have been trained and certified in various areas, such as software development, cybersecurity, IT services management, and IT fundamentals.
